Report: Cannonier-Rodrigues to headline Feb. 15 card

Former UFC middleweight title contender Jared Cannonier will face off against Gregory Rodrigues in a main-event bout at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Feb. 15, sources told MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn.

Cannonier (17-8) is looking to end a two-fight losing skid. The 40-year-old lost by unanimous decision to Caio Borralho in his most recent fight in August. He sustained a TKO loss to Nassourdine Imavov in June.

Cannonier, the No. 8 middleweight, has fallen out of the title picture as a result. He appeared to be in contention for a second chance at the divisional title after scoring a split decision win over Sean Strickland in 2022 and a decision victory over Marvin Vettori in 2023.

Rodrigues (16-5) is riding a three-fight win streak. "Robocop" scored finishes over Denis Tiuliulin and Brad Tavares before walking away with a unanimous decision win over Christian Leroy Duncan in July.
