Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev made weight Friday for UFC 311, but challenger Arman Tsarukyan never reached the scale, withdrawing with a last-minute back injury.
Fellow lightweight Renato Moicano will instead face Makhachev in the main event Saturday at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Moicano weighed in at 155 pounds before the UFC announced any changes. His original opponent, Beneil Dariush, also came in at 155 pounds but will no longer compete.
The co-headliners, bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili and challenger Umar Nurmagomedov, were on point as they stepped on the scale, making their title fight official.
