Former featherweight champion Jose Aldo will face Aiemann Zahabi in a pivotal bantamweight bout at UFC 315 on May 10 in Montreal, the promotion announced Tuesday.

Aldo is looking to get back on track after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Mario Bautista at UFC 307 in October. The 38-year-old Brazilian is 1-1 since coming out of retirement in 2024. Aldo was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2023 and is widely considered one of the greatest fighters of all time.

Zahabi is riding a five-fight winning streak and seeking the biggest win of his career against Aldo. The 37-year-old, who trains out of Tristar Gym in Montreal, is coming off a decision victory over longtime contender Pedro Munhoz last November. Zahabi hasn't lost in the Octagon since 2019.

Aldo and Zahabi are ranked No. 11 and No. 13 in the 135-pound division, respectively.

In the UFC 315 main event, Belal Muhammad will defend the welterweight title against Jack Della Maddalena.
