Logan Paul: Dana White 'ignored me' after I asked to fight at UFC 300
Logan Paul is itching to fight in the UFC, but he apparently has a lot of convincing to do before that can happen.
On the latest episode of his "Impaulsive" podcast, the WWE wrestler and YouTuber revealed that UFC CEO Dana White gave him the silent treatment after he expressed interest in fighting at UFC 300 in Las Vegas last year.
"I told Dana for UFC 300. I texted him, I said, 'Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in The Sphere.' Yeah, they basically completely ignored me, which I think spoke volumes," Paul said. "Haven't bothered him about it since. But, you know, I think for the right fight, the right amount of money - man, I'm an entertainer at the end of the day."
Paul said he believes White is reluctant to allow wrestlers to fight in the UFC because of WWE superstar CM Punk, who had a brief run with the promotion.
"He f---ed it up, and after that, Dana was like 'I'm never doing this again,'" Paul said. "But dude, I'm not CM Punk ... He's a great wrestler, not a UFC fighter. And I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I would just a boxer. My skill is wrestling. I'm a wrestler."
Paul, 29, has been working for WWE on a part-time basis since 2022.
