Benoit Saint Denis opened the UFC 322 main card in style.
Saint Denis knocked out Beneil Dariush 16 seconds into their lightweight bout Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The win was Saint Denis' third of the year after the 29-year-old Frenchman submitted Mauricio Ruffy and Kyle Prepolec in May and September, respectively.
Dariush, who was coming off a win over Renato Moicano, fell to 1-3 in his last four Octagon appearances.
