Anderson Silva defeated Tyron Woodley via TKO in a cruiserweight bout on the Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua undercard Friday night at Kaseya Center in Miami.

The stoppage came at the 1:33 mark of the second round.

Silva, a UFC Hall of Famer and former middleweight champion, returned to the boxing ring for the first time since a unanimous decision loss to Paul in October 2022.

With the victory, Silva, 50, improved his professional boxing record to 4-2.

In his postfight interview, the Brazilian expressed interest in rescheduling a trilogy bout with UFC rival Chris Weidman.

Woodley, a former UFC welterweight champion, stepped into the ring for the first time since a knockout loss to Paul in December 2021. The 43-year-old fell to 0-3 in boxing.
