Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou scored a knockout finish of Philipe Lins at MVP MMA 1 on Saturday night at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
After landing hard punches and controlling the action early, Ngannou put Lins to sleep with a left hook at the 4:31 mark of the first round.

Ngannou ended a 19-month layoff in the fight against Lins. He hadn't stepped into the cage since knocking out Renan Ferreira in his PFL debut in October 2024.
The 39-year-old Cameroonian parted ways with the PFL earlier this year, allowing him to be part of Most Valuable Promotions' inaugural MMA event on Netflix. Ngannou is now riding an eight-fight winning streak and remains unbeaten in MMA since 2018.
Lins, a former UFC heavyweight, had his four-fight winning streak end.
