Why Jon Jones lost it on Twitter
Less than a week after Phil Davis (12-1) said Jon Jones "wants more of the softer side of the division," the UFC light heavyweight champion was called out again — this time by former UFC lightweight Tyson Griffin, for Jones habit of handpicking his opponents.
Griffin was most incensed by Jones' refusal to fight Daniel Cormier (14-0), a two-time Olympian with key wins against Frank Mir, Roy Nelson and Antonio Silva in the heavyweight division.
This 26 year old @JonnyBones thinks the names on @dc_mma record aren't top level? That is just disrespectful if you ask me.

Jones didn't take kindly to the Griffin's comments, sending direct messages rather than tweeting at him.
So the great champ @JonnyBones DM's me then unfollows so he wouldn't have to hear my response. Class act I tell ya! pic.twitter.com/zqkWb3rjKm
