Dan Henderson won't consider retirement after TRT ban

While the decision to ban testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by numerous athletic commissions has some fighters considering retirement, Dan Henderson will not be among them.

Henderson, who will be using a therapy use exemption (TUE) for the final time in his March 23 showdown with Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, told Inside MMA he has no intentions of quitting because of the ban.

“It is what it is. It’s unfortunate that it happened this way instead of conquering the problem of all the performance-enhancing drugs,” said Henderson. “I’m not done yet. I’m not retiring because of this.”
