The UFC announced Tuesday that former lightweight champion Benson Henderson (19-2) will face Rustam Khabilov (17-1) in the main event at UFC Fight Night on June 7, the UFC's debut in Albuquerque.
It was only a matter of time that the promotion hosted an event in New Mexico, as Albuquerque has been an MMA hot spot in recent years — with locals Carlos Condit and Diego Sanchez finding success, as well as it being home of Jackson's MMA, a training camp used by multiple top fighters including Jon Jones.
No other bout has been announced. Fight Night tickets go on sale April 18.
