Bellator contacted Kimbo Slice
Bellator's first move of the post Bjorn Rebney era may involve signing Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson.
Slice's manager "Icey" Mike Imber confirmed to MMAFighting's Ariel Helwani that rumors of the company's interest in his client were true, but that no deal is imminent.
"They had reached out to us, however, it was very informal and nothing has been decided.
"You know Kimbo is down to fight whenever. There's actually a few options out there, so whatever makes most sense I think he's gonna with."
Slice, who made a name for himself as a brawler on Youtube and in the boatyards, posted a 3-1 record with EliteXC before appearing on season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter. Although he washed out of the reality show tournament in the first round, the 40-year-old was granted two official fights in the UFC, where he posted a 1-1 record.
