Stefan Struve's return at UFC 175 called off after pre-fight medical issue
Those looking forward to seeing Stefan Struve back in the octagon for the first time since March 2013 will have to wait a little longer.
Struve was scheduled to return on Saturday night's UFC 175 in a heavyweight bout against Matt Mitrione, but that fight has been called off due to a pre-fight medical issue.
The 7-foot Struve, who missed more than a year due to a serious heart issue, reportedly fainted backstage before the fight, leading to the fight being scratched.
Struve just fainted in locker room. Fight is scratched.

It's a major disappointment and a scary development for the Dutchman. It sounds as if UFC officials are confident it's a more minor issue than the one that sidelined him before, but it's best to err on the side of caution.
Dana came by press row, said it was similar to a "panic attack." They think Struve is OK, but no reason to risk it. Heading for more tests.
