White: Faber and Dillashaw 'made it very clear that they will fight each other'
Team Alpha Male teammates T.J. Dillashaw and Urijah Faber would be willing to set aside their friendship for 25 minutes in the Octagon if a title was at stake.
Although both men have been hesitant about the possibility of squaring off in the past, UFC president Dana White told "UFC Tonight" that an all-Alpha Male clash could be on the horizon.
"That's possible. Those guys have made it very clear that they will fight each other," White said, according to Anton Tabuena of BloodyElbow. "We'll see what happens. That's not the plan right now here today, but it's definitely a fight I would like to see."
At this point, Faber seems destined to rematch Francisco Rivera after an inadvertent eye-poke directly led to his victory at UFC 181, while Dillashaw will likely defend his Bantamweight title against Renan Barao the next time he steps foot in the cage.
