Alexander Gustafsson tested by Swedish Sports Confederation, not USADA
Alexander Gustafsson was mistaken when he announced on Facebook that he had been randomly drug tested by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
The top-flight UFC Light Heavyweight was indeed tested, but the test was administered by the Swedish Sports Confederation and not the USADA, a representative of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) told MMAjunkie's Steven Marrocco.
The IMMAF is an international governing body for the sport of MMA and UFC vice president of regulatory affairs Marc Ratner serves as the committee's chairman.
Gustafsson is set to face Anthony Johnson on Jan. 24, with the winner likely getting the next shot at 205-pound champion Jon Jones.
