Report: Bellator signs Kimbo Slice
Bellator MMA combed the boatyards to add some box-office clout to its heavyweight division, signing YouTube legend and former UFC alum Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson, according to multiple reports.
The promotion is expected to announce the signing at Bellator 132 on Friday night.
The 40-year-old Slice compiled a 4-2 MMA record while competing under the UFC and EliteXC banners, and was a competitor on the all-heavyweight season of "The Ultimate Fighter."
Since losing to Matt Mitrione at UFC 113 in May 2010, Slice has tried his hand at professional boxing, notching a 7-0 record with six knockouts.
