'Cowboy' Oliveira polishes off Noons with quick submission
Alex "Cowboy" Oliveira doesn't like to waste his time playing to his opponent's strengths.
Oliveira, uninterested in testing K.J. Noons' vaunted striking, took the former professional boxer down multiple times from the back before eventually snaking in a fight-ending rear-naked choke at 2:51 of the opening stanza.
Just a beautiful performance from Cowboy, who improved to 1-1 in his brief UFC tenure (both fights came on short-notice).
You can always count on guys named COWBOY
