Condit crushes Alves in spectacular return to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 67
Carlos Condit lived up to his nickname on Saturday night.
Coming off a 14-month layoff following ACL surgery, "The Natural Born Killer" completely decimated fellow former welterweight title challenger Thiago Alves, using a series of crushing elbows to completely demolish the Brazilian's nose.
After an opening round that saw Alves gain the upper hand with thumping leg kicks, Condit was slowly able to find his range, and started to punish Alves with slick, powerful combinations, before unleashing those aforementioned, nose-destroying elbows.

Although Alves survived the violent onslaught, the doctor, after looking at his mashed nose, would not allow him to answer the bell for the third round.
Carlos Condit is back, and the UFC's welterweight division should be appropriately terrified.
