Jordan, Akhmedov, Wade, Proctor emerge victorious at UFC Fight Night 68

Shawn Jordan def. Derrick Lewis via second-round TKO

Massive heavyweight Shawn Jordan essentially finished Derrick Lewis with a hook kick.

Yep, you read that correctly. 270-pound side of beef Jordan liquefied Lewis with a ridiculous hook kick and followed it up with a barrage of punches and hammerfists until referee Gabe Barahona mercifully stepped in to stop the carnage 48 seconds into the second round.

Who knew Jordan - a man built like a fire hydrant - could lift his leg so high? Truly Shawn Michaels-esque.

Omari Akhmedov def. Brian Ebersole via first-round TKO (knee injury)

It wasn't apparent right away, but Omari Akhmedov had Brian Ebersole beat with an early kick to the knee.

Akhmedov hobbled Ebersole with a vicious kick to his right knee, but the spectacularly hirsute veteran, who sported a finely crafted arrow made of chest hair, was somehow able to gut it out until the end of the first round, before declaring himself unable to continue due to injury.

Chris Wade def. Christos Giagos via unanimous decision

Chris Wade put on his hard hat and did work Saturday night.

Wade quite simply outworked Christos Giagos over three rounds, dominating the wrestling and scrambling exchanges en route to a unanimous decision victory. Giagos, who seemingly had the advantage at range, foolishly engaged in close quarters with Wade, who used his fantastic wrestling and suffocating top control to completely take over long stretches of the fight.

It was a grinding, workman-like performance for Wade, who split Giagos wide open in the second round with a scintillating elbow above The Spartan's right eye.

Joe Proctor def Justin Edwards via third-round guillotine choke

It was better late than never for Joe Proctor on Saturday night.

After nearly 15 minutes of grueling back and forth action, Proctor stunned Justin Edwards with a knee to the body in the closing moments of the final stanza and unleashed a quick flurry before trying to snatch a guillotine choke.

Edwards valiantly fought off the choke, but Proctor kept squeezing, tightening his grip and fell back while Edwards slumped forward - completely unconscious with a mere two seconds left in the fight.
