Rawlings pulls out of bout with Calderwood after suffering a stress fracture in her thigh
The injury bug continues to take a chunk out of the UFC's events in 2016.
Scheduled to face Joanne Calderwood at a Fight Night event on July 18, Bec Rawlings was forced to pull out after suffering a stress fracture in her thighbone.

If you havn't heard the news yet I have been pulled from my fight against Joanne Calderwood in Glasgow next weekend. I started to experienced pain in my hip & groin & figured it was labrum damage so I had a cortisone injection & trained through the pain a few more days until I could no longer walk without wanting to cry so then we tried a natural alternative called Sarapin which was injected into my hip joint & still had no relief. So we decided I should have an MRI to see what's going on. It turns out I have a 13mm which is a half inch long stress fracture in my femural neck that I had been trying to train on & walk on for days... Believe me NO ONE is more devastated than me. I invested 6 weeks out here in the US away from my family to get ready for this fight & spent at least 4k on flights & expenses this camp to have my body break on me 2 weeks from the fight. I'm not going to apologize to anyone because I didn't ask my body to break on me, sometimes these things happen & they fucking suck so I'm not going to pretend I'm okay & give you the cliche "ill be back, better & stronger " speech because I'm not okay I'm absolutely not okay, I'm heartbroken, I'm angry & i want to eat someone's face off.
A contestant on season 20 of "The Ultimate Fighter," Rawlings sports a 1-1 record in official UFC bouts, dropping a decision to Heather Clark at the TUF 20 Finale in December before submitting Lisa Ellis via rear-naked choke at UFC Fight Night 65 in May.
Calderwood will now face UFC newcomer Cortney Casey. That turn of events apparently didn't sit well with fellow UFC strawweight Angela Hill, who believes Calderwood has benefited from advantageous matchmaking.
And #JoanneCalderwoodgets her 3rd opponent in a row NOT signed to the UFC that NO ONE has heard of after I begged to step up and fight her on short notice. Her ranking is bullshit when she's not fighting ranked opponents. Somebody's scurd.@badmofo_jojo #UFCGlasgow
