Mendes, McGregor almost come to blows at weigh-ins for UFC 189
So ... apparently the weigh-ins for UFC 189 were a big deal.

In front of a massive, raucous crowd at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes made weight Friday in anticipation of their interim featherweight title clash at UFC 189 on Saturday night. When McGregor stepped up to the scale it felt like the place would come unglued, and when Mendes was announced he was viciously showered with boos by the clearly pro McGregor crowd.
Things got ... well they got a little intense once the two men finally squared off.
