Matt Brown is hoping to sling leather with Carlos Condit

If the gods of ultraviolence exist, hopefully they listen to Matt Brown's podcast.

Fresh off a thrilling, elbow-filled submission victory over Tim Means at UFC 189, Brown is already thinking about his next opponent, and is hoping for a date with another terrifying human being with a penchant for finishing fights.

"(Carlos) Condit's always an ideal fight for me," Brown said on his podcast, "The Great MMA Debate," according to Fox Sports' Damon Martin. "I think a lot of people want to see that fight. Of course, I think Condit would love to have that fight as much as I would."

After sitting on the shelf for more than a year with an ACL injury, Condit, a former interim welterweight champion, burst back onto the scene with a resounding beat down of Thiago Alves at a Fight Night event in May. The victory shoved Condit back into the crowded title picture at 170 pounds.

"If Condit's not going to fight for the title, I think me and him should fight for sure," Brown said.
