Rousey: 'I have this idea in my mind that my final fight would be just beating the crap out of Cris Cyborg'

Following her 45-second destruction of Faith Van Duin at Invicta FC 13 last week, Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino had a clear message for Ronda Rousey: Stop running.

Rousey, it seems, isn't running.

"Really, I don't see her coming for me," Rousey said at a media day scrum for UFC 189 on Thursday. "That invitation's been open for awhile."

Long considered the lone threat to Rousey's both physical title and the title of "baddest woman alive," Cyborg has been loudly campaigning for a bout with the UFC women's bantamweight champion, but is unsure if her heavily muscled frame could be cut down to 135 pounds. Instead, the Invicta featherweight champ is hoping to face Rousey at a 140 pound catchweight.

"It's entirely up to her," Rousey said. "I'm not going to go chase her around. She's not entitled to have me chase her around. She's the fraud that got defamed, and if you can make 145 pumped full of steroids, you can get off of it and drop."

Unlike Cyborg, Rousey's life isn't driven by the potential matchup, though she does admit laying an absolute beating on her nemesis would be a beautiful way to cap her career.

"I hope I do (get to fight Cyborg)," Rousey said. "I have this idea in my mind that my final fight would be just beating the crap out of Cris Cyborg and then when Dana puts the belt on me one last time, I could take it off and give it back to him.

"But if she doesn't step up, I could move on and do other things in my life. She's the one that's going to fall into obscurity without me."
