Mayweather ends feud with Rousey: 'I wish her nothing but the best'
Floyd Mayweather has spent plenty of time in front of media members in recent days as he promotes his upcoming pay-per-view bout with Andre Berto on Sept. 12.
With that fight not garnering much interest, reporters have instead taken to asking Mayweather about more compelling subjects, like his ongoing feud with Ronda Rousey.
Mayweather's latest comments regarding Rousey were far less inflammatory than the remarks he's made in the past,
"Like I said before, I don't really know too much about Ronda Rousey," Mayweather said, according to Fight Hub TV, as transcribed by Uproxx Sports. "Even before, I think they got upset because I thought Ronda Rousey … you know, I didn't know who that was. So, whoever, whoever … she is … because before, I didn't know who she was, you know? I wish her nothing but the best. Good luck with everything."
Given Rousey's recent comments about Mayweather, she may not be quite ready to bury the hatchet, but this is a step in the right direction for the two fighters.
