The third time's the charm - at least that's what the UFC hopes.
Yoel Romero and Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza will fight at UFC 194 on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, the promotion announced Monday. It's the third time a fight between the middleweight title contenders has been scheduled in 2015, writes ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
An original meeting scheduled for Feb. 28 fell through when Souza withdrew with pneumonia. The fight was rebooked for April 18, but Romero was forced to pull out because of a knee injury.
Souza's 22-3 and riding an eight-fight win streak.
Romero's 10-1, his last fight a knockout victory over Lyoto Machida.
UFC 194 is headlined by the meeting between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor for the featherweight title.
