Report: UFC targeting Stefan Struve vs. Jared Rosholt for UFC 193
Heavyweights Stefan Struve and Jared Rosholt are expected to face off when the UFC returns to Australia in November, according to a report by MMAjunkie.com's Mike Bohn.
The towering Struve halted a two-fight losing streak at UFC 190, outpointing the legendary (and unfortunately shopworn) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira for three rounds en route to a unanimous decision victory. Prior to the Nogueira win, Struve, who also dealt with a heart condition in the last few years, was brutally finished by Alistair Overeem and Mark Hunt.
Struve marks a big step up in competition for Rosholt, a winner of two straight in the Octagon who has a 5-1 record since joining the UFC in 2013. During his last outing at UFC Fight Night 73, Rosholt defeated Timothy Johnson via unanimous decision.
UFC 193 takes place on Nov. 14 at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, and features a welterweight title bout between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit as the main event.
