Khabib Nurmagomedov out of TUF 22 Finale with rib injury
UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov suffered a rib injury in training and won't be able to face Tony Ferguson at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale on Dec. 11.
Nurmagomedov confirmed his status on Instagram, adding that he's unsure if he'll ever fight again.
This isn't the first time Nurmagomedov called off a fight due to injury. He was scheduled to fight Donald Cerrone in May, but was forced out of the event with a knee injury.
Edson Barboza is reportedly being considered to replace Nurmagomedov.
