Johnson to face Bader at UFC on FOX 18

Anthony Johnson is getting his wish.

After campaigning for a bout with Ryan Bader in interviews and on social media, the UFC has booked Johnson vs. Bader in a five-round main event at UFC on FOX on Jan. 30.

The bout was announced on Wednesday's edition of "UFC Tonight."

Riding a five-fight winning streak, Bader was hoping to book a date with light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier for his next trip to the Octagon. Unfortunately for "Darth," the returning Jon Jones threw a gigantic wrench into his plans, and Bader had to settle for a dangerous bout against the dynamite-fisted Johnson.

After failing in his bid to capture the vacant light heavyweight title against Cormier at UFC 187, Johnson bounced back with a violent dusting of Jimi Manuwa at UFC 191, burying the veteran Brit under an avalanche of heavy punches.
