Ronda Rousey to be featured on cover of 'EA UFC 2'
Ronda Rousey is venturing into the world of video games.
The UFC women's bantamweight champion was revealed Friday as the cover star for "EA Sports UFC 2," which is slated for release in spring 2016. Rousey is the first female to land a global lead cover spot on an EA Sports title.
"EA Sports is a cultural barometer to know what’s going on in sports at the moment," Rousey said in a statement. "As a gamer myself, it’s pretty surreal to be on the cover of the game and to have a woman on the cover of a UFC game shows a lot of progress. I'm really happy to be involved with it."
