Erick Montano is leaving Mexico as the welterweight winner of the second season of "The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America."
In a truly putrid 15 minutes of "action," Montano earned the six-figure UFC contract by piling up points on the feet against Enrique Marin, using his volume striking to outwork Marin, though neither man did a whole lot and both looked like they possessed puddle-deep gas tanks.
Marin was the more aggressive fighter, but his constant walking-down of Montano failed to lead to any meaningful offense, and "Perry" likely sealed the fight with a timely takedown in the final stanza.
Neither guy looked very happy at the end there. #UFCMonterrey
