The UFC will employ a classic three-man booth during the main event of UFC on FOX 17 on Saturday night.

Former bantamweight kingpin Dominick Cruz will join stalwarts Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan cageside to call the lightweight title bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone, according to MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani.

With his career repeatedly stalled by devastating injuries, Cruz has developed into one of the sport's most technically gifted TV analysts, and his appointment to the booth this weekend could be the promotion's way of testing the waters for a potential career move for "The Dominator."

Of course, Cruz hasn't given up his day job just yet. The 30-year-old former WEC and UFC titlist will look to regain the title he technically never lost when he faces T.J. Dillashaw at UFC Fight Night 81 in January.
