It was vintage Nate Diaz at UFC on Fox 17 on Saturday night.
The compulsively cocky Diaz viciously force-fed Michael Johnson 1-2 combinations for 15 minutes, battering "The Menace" with an unending volume of punches occasionally punctuated with a sneaky head kick.
By the third round, Johnson had thrown out any notion that he would try a more measured approach, gladly engaging in Diaz's glorious firefight to his extreme detriment, as the Stockton bad boy repeatedly dented his mug with vicious, head-turning combinations.
Following one of the finest performances of his career, Diaz issued an expletive-laced challenge to UFC featherweight kingpin Conor McGregor.
*Warning: very coarse language*
Just Nate being Nate.
