UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum has issued a bizarre response to Conor McGregor.
At the World MMA Awards on Friday, McGregor ripped into the UFC roster after receiving the award for Fighter of the Year. He singled out Werdum, calling him a "p---y" for pulling out of his most recent fight with an injury.
On Sunday, Werdum posted a Photoshopped image on Instagram of him doing ... something unsavory to McGregor.
Perhaps this is some oblique reference to Werdum "pulling out" of his fight, but whatever it is don't expect McGregor to just let it slide. The Irishman was previously criticized by Werdum for his rude treatment of Werdum's friend Rafael dos Anjos at a press conference for UFC 196. Werdum threatened to smack McGregor if he ever disrespected him like that.
The two fighters compete in vastly different weight classes, so they'll have to settle for waging war on social media.
