VIDEO: Garbrandt unloads on Augusto Mendes for TKO finish

Cody Garbrandt used a basic 1-2 combination to blitz Augusto Mendes in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 83 contest.
Early on, it became clear that Mendes wouldn't be able to take Garbrandt down to the mat, where he could implement his top shelf jiu-jitsu. Once Garbrandt realized that he held all the cards in the stand-up, he made his move:
Mendes took the fight on six-days notice, so he'll probably get another crack at the Octagon despite the disappointing performance.
Garbrandt moves to 3-0 in the UFC and 8-0 in his career.
