Latifi slams his way past Villante for unanimous decision win
There wasn't much to score in their fight, but a few key takedowns were enough for Ilir Latifi to defeat Gian Villante.
Perhaps wary of each other's knockout power, Latifi and Villante waltzed their way through three rounds of light action. Any striking exchanges between the two were inconclusive outside of the occasional hook or overhand blow that only hinted at each fighter's finishing prowess.

For the most part, the match was a war of attrition:

Latifi failed to capitalize on the buzz surrounding his last two fights, which he finished in less than a minute, but he stayed on the winning track despite the uneventful performance.
