Kyle Busch was involved in an altercation with a fan following Saturday's Monster Energy Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
One eyewitness told NASCAR reporter Jeff Gluck that Busch was getting in his golf cart after signing autographs when the fan hit him on his arm. Police officers then stepped in to break up the fight.
Busch was at the center of controversy after bumping Martin Truex Jr. during the race, causing him to slam him into the wall.
"(The incident) was totally my fault. I feel terrible about that. I misjudged a little bit - four inches, six inches, you name it," Busch said afterward, according to USA Today's Mike Hembree. "I barely clipped him and sent him for a hell of a ride. I hate it that I clipped him."
