Johnny Sauter: Runner-up Finish at Las Vegas
Sauter finished second in the World of Westgate 200 Camping World Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday night.
Analysis:
Sauter raced among the leaders all night at LVMS, but it wouldn't be until lap 100 before he would push into the lead. The GMS Racing star would lead 21 laps in the late stages, but more importantly he would avoid trouble during the nine-different accident driven cautions. Sauter would press Grant Enfinger for the win on the final restart, but would fall just .142 seconds short at the line. The runner-up finish puts Sauter third overall in the playoff standings as the trucks head to Talladega next.
