Joey Logano: Top-5 Finish at Texas

Logano finished fourth in the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday evening.

Analysis:

Logano would struggle with the handling on his No. 22 Ford early in this 500-mile race. The Penske Racing team would keep working on his car over the course of the event and make it gradually better as the night wore on. The perseverance would pay off as Logano would break into the Top 5 in stage 3. He would finish an impressive fourth at the checkered flag. it was Logano's 11th Top-5 finish of the season. Logano currently sits fourth overall in the Chase standings at 20 points ahead of the cut line.
