The favorites
Harvick (4-1) emphatically posted career win No. 50 on Sunday, surpassing Alex Bowman in Stage 3 and coasting from there. The first-place finish gave Harvick his seventh top-five result in his last 11 races at Darlington.
Not to be outdone, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch are both in the mix at 5-1, and deservedly so. Finishing fifth on Sunday, Hamlin has been in the top five in eight of his last 15 appearances on this course. Busch, meanwhile, has a first-place finish at Darlington to his credit.
Trending up
Bowman (7-1) put on a brilliant performance Sunday. The 27-year-old placed second and led 41 of the laps.
Brad Keselowski (10-1) has fared well here. Despite placing 13th this past weekend, Keselowski has led 373 laps on the course, the third-most among active drivers.
Trending down
Clint Bowyer (20-1) has led just one lap over his last 10 races at Darlington. In fact, Bowyer doesn't own a single top-five finish in 18 tries on the track.
Ryan Newman (20-1) recorded three straight top-10 finishes on this course from 2009-11. Since then, however, he's placed outside the top 10 in seven of the last nine.
