Alex Bowman: Crash and DNF in Vegas
Bowman crashed and finished 34th in the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Lap 145 would see a potential Top-10 performance go up in smoke for Bowman and the No. 48 team. While racing around the back end of the Top 10, Bowman would have a tire failure coming to the start/finish line. The car would go out of control and make hard contact with the wall. The damage to the No. 48 Chevrolet would be terminal and Bowman would be parked for the remainder of the day with his fourth DNF of the season.
