Jimmie Johnson: Two Races in 2025
Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Johnson will attempt at least two races in NASCAR's top series in 2025. Johnson will attempt to make the field for the Daytona 500 next month and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, The Racing Experts reports.
Analysis:
Johnson has raced part-time since returning to NASCAR and becoming an owner/driver. He's now confirmed for at least two starts in 2025, coming at Daytona and Charlotte. The two events are two of the crown jewel races for the sport and make pretty logical choices for the former champion. After Johnson's nine-race schedule in 2024, it looks like he's planned a much lighter commitment in the upcoming season.
