Stewart Friesen: Runner-up Finish at Atlanta

Friesen finished second in the FR8 208 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The driver of the No. 52 Toyota would battle among the Top 10 most of the day in this truck series battle at Atlanta. Friesen would lead just a single lap, but it would be prior to taking the white flag. It would appear that Friesen would upset Kyle Busch for the win, however, Busch would catch and re-pass Friesen just before the finish line and checkered flag. It was still a fantastic result for the veteran driver and his first Top 5 of the season.
