Denny Hamlin: Nurses Car Home
Hamlin finished 11th in Sunday's Goodyear 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway despite issues in the final stage.
Analysis:
Hamlin was running in the Top 5 at times on Sunday, but a tire issue on Lap 179 cost him spots, and he was forced to pit before pit road opened during the stage break. The car never looked the same after that, and Hamlin brought the No. 11 home in 11th place. He'll look for a better result next week at Martinsville, where he has six career wins, including one in the race there last spring.
