Dillon ran well throughout Sunday's All-Star Race and managed to avoid all the day's chaos to finish fourth. While the All-Star Race doesn't count in the point standings, it is the third race in a row that Dillon has run well. At Texas, he gained 20 positions from his 38th-place starting spot to finish 18th, and at Watkins Glen, he picked up his first Top 10 of the season. Now the series heads to Charlotte, where Dillon won the 600-mile race back in 2017. He's finished outside of the Top 20 in three of the past four races at the track.
