It’s All-Star Weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series, with the Sprint Showdown happening on Friday evening, and the Sprint All-Star Race on Saturday night. 22 cars will race in the All-Star race, but only 19 spots have been determined so far. Spot #20 will go to the Sprint Showdown Winner, Spot #21 will go to the 2nd place finisher in the Sprint Showdown, and the 22nd and final spot will go to the Sprint Fan Vote Winner.

There are a number of ways to get into the Sprint-All Star Race:

  2. Drivers who are past Sprint Cup champions in the last 10 years
  3. Drivers who have won The All-Star Race in the past 10 years
  4. The winning driver of the Sprint Showdown
  5. Driver who finishes 2nd in the Sprint Showdown
