Yuengling extends sponsorship at Richard Childress Racing

Richard Childress Racing and brewery D.G. Yuengling & Son announced on Thursday that they’ve renewed their sponsorship of the No. 3 Nationwide Series team, driven by Ty Dillon, for the 2015 season.

Yuengling will also sponsor Dillon in the Sprint Cup Series No. 33 car for one race at Pocono Raceway next season.

"We have enjoyed working with a family-owned and operated company with such a rich heritage and tight-knit culture," said team owner Richard Childress via statement. "It’s something we mirror here at RCR."

Yuengling began their foray into NASCAR this season, supporting Dillon as a primary sponsor for eight races and a secondary sponsor for 25.

Dillon is currently ranked third in points in the Nationwide Series, picking up one win (Indianapolis), five top-5s, and 20 top-10s.
