Kenseth, Keselowski, Hamlin, Stewart involved in post-race altercations
The excitement of Saturday night’s Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway didn’t end when Kevin Harvick grabbed the checkered flag.
During the cool down lap after the race, Brad Keselowski got into Denny Hamlin, damaging both cars.
Keselowski then ran into the rear bumper of Tony Stewart’s No. 14 car. Stewart retaliated by reversing into Keselowski’s No. 2 car, wrecking the front bumper.

The real fireworks happened when the drivers exited their cars.
Denny Hamlin had to be held back from approaching Keselowski, but as Keselowski was walking to his truck, Matt Kenseth attacked him, and a fight broke out between haulers.
Check out the video of the incident below:
“The 2 (Keselowski) just wrecked me and I didn’t have any seatbelts on,” Kenseth said after the altercation. “He came up and wrecked the 11 (Hamlin), and then he wrecked me and I have no belts on!”
It’s common for a driver to show their displeasure of another driver post-race with a hit to their bumper, but Kenseth’s displeasure was because he didn’t have his seatbelt on, which poses a safety risk.
“He’s dangerous and reckless,” Denny Hamlin said about Keselowski. “Luckily he didn’t’ cause us to wreck. Because if he did, I’d be right here waiting for him.”
Keselowski on the other hand, didn’t appear to think he was in the wrong.
“I figured if we’re going to play car wars under yellow and after the race I’ll join too,” he said about Hamlin and Kenseth.
“You know those guys can dish it out, but can’t take it. I gave it back to them and now they want to fight”
NASCAR is still in the process of reviewing the incident, and will “evaluate like normal.” Penalties (if any) will be announced on Tuesday, as per usual.
