Another day, another shakeup in the NASCAR broadcasting world.
NBC Sports announced that veteran NASCAR reporter Krista Voda would be joining their team beginning in 2015. She’ll be hosting the network’s pre- and post-race coverage for the XFINITY and Sprint Cup Series.
Voda’s role will be mainly NASCAR, but she’ll also be working other roles within the NBC Sports and NBC Olympics network.
“This role is a dream opportunity for me and I’m honored to be a part of NBC’s return to NASCAR,” Voda said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to this new chapter and the chance to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for storytelling.”
Next year will mark her 14th consecutive season covering NASCAR on network television.
