Quicken Loans Race For Heroes 500: Harvick quickest in first practice

Kevin Harvick opened up this weekend’s Sprint Cup Series practice with the fastest car, putting down a lap time of 25.438 seconds.
The Stewart-Haas Racing driver also had the stop speed of 141.521 mph.
Harvick is one of five Chase drivers who needs a win this weekend in order to advance to the final round of the Chase next weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Next up for the Cup Series is qualifying at 6:45 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
