DAV 200: Bowman leads final Nationwide Series practice

Alex Bowman is putting his second opportunity to run for JR Motorsports to good use, leading the final Nationwide Series practice at Phoenix International Raceway.
Bowman, who is in the No. 5 car for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s race team, had the fastest lap time at 26.944 seconds, and a top speed of 133.610 mph.
Nationwide Series points leader Chase Elliott finished 9th fastest, with a lap time of 27.454 seconds.
Next up for the Nationwide Series is qualifying at 12:45 p.m. ET on Saturday on FOX Sports 2.
