Ryan Newman: Eighth at Tricky Triangle

Newman took advantage of late-race restarts to earn a second-straight Top-10 finish in his Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's Camaro ZL1 at Pocono Raceway, ryannewman.com reports.

It's now official. The Richard Childress Racing veteran is now streaking. Newman's workmanlike effort and some good fortune led to an eighth-place finish at Pocono Raceway Sunday. It was just his sixth Top 10 of the season, but extended his current streak to two races, and three of the last four. The No. 31 Chevrolet team appears to be getting their act together as the series enters the late-summer stretch of the schedule.
